Qi's amazing voice will capture your heart and touch your soul with her soft melodies and powerful vocal arrangements.

Well known for her moving performances of Chinese folk songs, her vocal arrangements also include pop favorites, smooth rhythms and romantic ballads.

Her unique style and charismatic stage presence has thrilled audiences of all ages throughout the Northwest.

Qi traveled from Bejing China in 1989 to study at the University of Central Florida. While there, she attained her Master’s degree in Electric Engineering before venturing to Seattle Washington in 1993.

She joined Microsoft in 1994 where she began her 16 year career as a Software Engineer. Always seeking new experiences, Qi left the software giant in 2010 to join a new start-up music company, nexTUNE, as Chief Operating Officer.

Qi began her singing career in 2003, first performing at Kirkland Performance Art Center, where she received enthusiastic applause for her moving performance.

She went on to perform at Ikea Art Performance Center, the Chinese National 60th anniversary celebration at Meany Theatre, Bellingham Chinese Culture Festival, Chinese New Year Concert, at the Mount Baker Theatre and in Seattle at the Chinese Central TV 2008 Olympic On The Road Show.

Hearing her unique voice, film director John Helde recruited Qi to sing the title song of his  award winning documentary film "Made In China" composed by Patrick Napper.
